Dear Future Me,
I'm glad you don't use chat speak like you used to... or add "ne" to the end of anything. Good lord. Still, I'm proud of the fact that you got out of that phase and actually took the time to learn Japanese and move to Japan. You're not *quite* as embarrassing as you used to be. Kudos for that.
The me of the present is very happy. Living and working in Japan is a dream come true. Not just as an English teacher, either. I never wanted a job that foreigners typically get. I always strived for a life beyond average, and now I'm finally seeing it come into play. Every day is a blessing, and I hope that future me is having as much, if not more, fun than I am right now.
Keep going for your goals and never give up. Never settle for anything less than what you truly want.
