Alexa turned suddenly, staring at Jaspar, Shikumi, and Koral even before Fayt had begun to speak. "Excuse me," She said as she strode over to the three.
"Koral. That's enough. As much as you may not like her, we all need her alive." The demon said to Koral, placing a hand on his shoulder so that he would remove the dangerous vines from both Jaspar and Shikumi's body. Once the boy had done so, she first went over to her the remnant, seeing as how she was most trouble and put her quickly into the cage. Now secure for the time being, Alexa quickly hurried to Jaspar's side.
"Jasp? Brother... are you alright?" Her eyes searched his body for damage, clinging to him tightly. He was her whole life basically. The demon pushed back his hair, pressing a hand to his forehead. Already her powers had begun to course through her body, her natural instinct to protect and heal Jaspar overriding every other sense and function of her body.
Shadows began to cloud her eyes as she placed her hands on her brother's chest, dark matter sparking out of her fingertips as she began to work her magic. She tilted her head to the side to stare at the wormhole, and more dark matter flew at it, flying into it and sealing it up for good. She turned her attention back to Jaspar, and once satisfied with her work, Alexa stood up, picking Jaspar up in her arms. "Koral, follow me," She told the boy.
The demon carried Jaspar into her office, placing him down slowly on the couch that sat against one of the walls. "Koral," She said quietly as she reached into a cabinet for a blanket. "Don't think that what you did today in the marketplace was acceptable. I will work out a punishment for you later. But right now, I need you to keep an eye on him for me," She asked him, shadows still clouding the cotton-candy pink eyes that Koral knew was behind them. She placed the blanket over her brother, tucking it in on the sides. "Can you do that for me?" Alexa really needed to get back into the marketplace for Shikumi and take her to the dungeons, but she needed to make sure Jaspar was okay first.
