Did you know that there are sites that disable the back button of a browser, just so that users can’t go back to the previous page? Why do they do that? Because it keeps you on their website.
It’s annoying. Instead of just clicking the button to go back to the previous page, I have to exit out of the tab, then open a new one and get back to where I originally was. Extra work just because someone disable the back button on their site. Luckily, this doesn’t happen all the time.
If your back button stops working, then something might be wrong with your browser. I suggest that you perform a virus/malware scan just in case because there are some bad stuff that purposely disable that. But mostly, it’s certain sites that do that. Sometimes there are ways to get around it by pressing the back button repeatedly but that doesn’t always work. Best way to avoid ever having that extra work is to always open every site in a new tab, pretty much eliminating the need to use the back button.
