The recent dream that I had last night was incredibly weird and creepy. Actually, it terrified me a bit because usually my dreams are pleasant and fun. I know I had other dreams before it but I can’t remember them and the only reason I remember this on is because it was the last dream I had before I woke up.
In the dream I was in a house which was occupied by a family I’ve never seen or met. The house was dark and quite, I could tell it was because it was nighttime. I was standing outside of a closed door. I went to open the door but I suddenly appeared in the other side of it. In the room, it was childish and filled with girly things and I could see the silhouette of a young girl on her bed. I don’t know exactly why but I can tell she was staying up for mischievous reasons.
Besides her pillow was a cordless phone and she was obviously talking to someone or possibly making prank calls. I felt strange like I wasn’t really myself but a darker, evil version. She picked up the phone and I felt myself walk or float, I’m not sure which it is but I was right next to her. She’s whispering, and randomly staring around her room. Not once did she acknowledge I was there so I figure it’s because she can’t see me. Actually I think it’s because I wasn’t letting her see me, that I had the power to hide or become something.
While she’s on the phone I look around her room, making notes about certain objects and I turn back to her. I reach out, touch the phone and it dies. The girl is surprised and looks at it. I don’t touch it again but I stare at it, willing it to do something.
There’s whispering coming from it, sounding like gibberish. She’s confused but her expression changes when it suddenly stops for a few seconds and screeches demonically. She turns if off and throws it at the end of her bed and looks around the room slightly paranoid. I felt myself smile, and I turn my attention to the small television that’s across her bed.
I stare at it, feeling like I’m willing it to turn on. It starts to slowly flicker, struggling to compile and the girl’s eyes are draw to it in fright. It’s bright, nothing is on it but then a image flashes quickly on it. It was too fast for anyone to see what it was but I already knew. It was a glimpse of the future. But to me, it’s something I was going to make come true. I don’t know what exactly it is but I just knew.
The television turns off and the girl huddles deeper into her bed and unblinkingly stares around her room. I can tell she’s scared and would have left the safety of her bed if her paranoia wasn’t making it worst. All her childhood fears come rushing into her mind, the boogieman under the bed, the monster in the closet, the evil trees clawing at her window, the dark eyes staring at her from the darkness and the judging eyes of her toys.
I felt myself smile in amusement. I knew I could do more to make her fear grow, instead I let her imagination feed it. I left the room and appeared in another section of the house, this one was a older girl’s room. Just like her sister, she wasn’t sleeping but unlike her, she wasn’t alone. There was another, a boy her age and they were both in the act of fornication.
I was by the open window and I took note that it was breezy, just enough to need a lite blanket. I turn back to the couple, easily knowing that the boy sneak up to the girl’s room from the window.
I walked to the door and the sound of foot steps echoed loud outside the girl’s door. The girl froze and glared at the boy to stop. They listen as the footsteps got closer to her door and then paused. Underneath the opening of the door a dark shadow was there, making it seem like someone was there. The girl look at her boyfriend, scared of being caught by her parents. They both stay quiet and still. They hope that the lack of noise would discourage whoever was outside the door from investigating.
I knew I had their attention and that was when my fun began. I made the shadow grasp hold of the door knob, twisting it open but it was locked. The girl stiffed but relaxed, remembering she locked her door. I grin, knowing that it’s not going to stop me. The door knob twisted again, only this time it opened. The teenagers’ eyes widen, and the door slowly creaked wider. The shadow grew stronger and vanish when the door banged against the wall.
No one was there.
Without them knowing I materialized the shadow being in the corner of the room. The window and the door slammed shut, locking. They looked at both sides of the room, and the boy saw the shadow in the corner. He stared, paralyzed. The sound of heavy breathing is strong, and the boy realizes he’s holding his breath. He looks at his girlfriend who’s staring at him scared and confused as to what he’s looking at.
The heavy breathing is getting closer and the room gets colder. The next thing they know the room is in complete darkness. They hear a wicked laugh, my laugh and they pass out.
I thought the dream ended but everything is red. I don’t know where I was now but I can tell it had something to do with the dream. I see the girl, she’s huddle in the corner, staring across the room. I see the couple as well, the older girl is laying on her back and appears to be asleep. The boy is hovering above her and he too appears as though he’s sleeping. But there is a loud sound, it sounds strange and wrong. Everything is red, as though all the other colors have been sucked or erased away.
The little girl crawls over, the look in her eyes empty and yet insane. I’m standing behind her and then I reappear besides her, knelling. My hand is on her head as a affectionate manner even though I don’t care or feel anything. I can see clearly what’s really happening, the boy is eating his girlfriend. Her stomach is completely gone and the red everywhere is her blood. The little girl is an artist, using her sister’s blood as paint.
It makes sense now, the very image on the television was this scene. After that I woke up and was pretty much creep out.
