She lay in the grass, her metallic silver hair spread around her. There he was...Lucifer. The beautiful angel of music. There was no earth, no humans, nothing. Just God and their home in the heavens. It was so simple so beautiful. Eternity to spend with the one she loved. She turned to him, her golden eyes smiling. His hand went out and grasped hers, it was warm. He had called her, he had something he wanted to tell her. They had been together for centuries, though lately he had seemed different, not quite himself. The loving, care-free angel she had known before seemed to be fading away. The man she looked at now seemed too serious, too distracted. His light left him slowly at a time though Aria hadn't seemed to notice, too consumed in her love for him. She was waiting anxiously, wondering what he seemed so urgent to tell her. He caressed her cheek as his bright eyes looked into hers, the thoughtful and determined expression he had worn lately now on his face. "Aria," his voice alone sent shivers down her spine as she focused on his words,"times are changing. God, He is too self-righteous. I deserve to be next to Him, as great as Him. Greater than Him!" He had started to speak with more fever, a passionate spark entering into his eyes. Aria looked confused. What was he saying? Go against God? How could he even consider it? She frowned, sitting up. "What are you saying? You can't really plan to go against God! After all He's done for us! If it weren't for Him we wouldn't exist!" Aria was shaking her head. He was mad now. His eyes turned red, a color she hadn't seen before. She backed up and shook her head. "You're either with me or against me. Will you follow me?" She shook her head, tears flowing down her cheeks. "I...I can't." With that she turned and left. After what seemed like a short period of time a war was raging. Lucifer, the man she had loved, trying to gain power over God, the creator of all and her King. She fought on God's side. Being an angel of war it was her duty. They were winning, God didn't need to try, the rebel angels were no match against Him. It was almost over, then he appeared. How could he change so much in such a short time. The man before her was no longer the beautiful angel she had fallen in love with, she wasn't sure what to call him. His red eyes, the color of blood, bore into her and the aura of evil that resonated from him was horrible. "What....happened to you?" He laughed. An evil, twisted laugh. "What? Can you not recognize power when you see it?" He grabbed her hand. "Though, now as a king, I need a queen. You will do just fine by my side." Aria tried to escape but it was no use, he was too strong. As God cast them down, Aria was trapped. Lucifer took her down with him. She struggled on the way down, fighting with all her might. She got away, but it was too late. She couldn't go back, she was a fallen angel, now and forever. Her white wings were gone and turned pure black. For centuries she mourned. She lost everything. After a while she banished her emotions, not wanting to live in sorrow. She masked her emotions until she herself believed she had none. She was a fallen angel, and it was her fault.
