Biography:
Tomori Shuuei was born in a strict household, not enabling her
to experience much of life without receiving a loud and, on
occasion, violently conducted yelling from her father. She first
took up The Layer and the Angelic Tournament at age 11 as a
form of escape. Her first angel ended in dissatisfaction and so
received many years of changes to become the angel that is in
her current possession: Uriya. Her mother was more supportive
of this choice and bought Tomori her first Angel's egg. After just
2 years of smaller competition in her hometown, the tournament
money was enough for the family to move to Tokyo, allowing
Tomori to finally test her skill within the official Angel Stadium,
something she had been dreaming of since her first match. The
next three years resulted in a quick rise in recognition from the
Angelic Layer world, Tomori and Uriya slowly carving their names
within the ranks of the most esteemed Layer competitors. Her
lack of speech and movement while in the premises of The Layer
during tournament has garnered the nickname:
