So I saw it mentioned twice in Tobi's journal entry. So since this have been something I've been looking into this summer I guess I'm going to rant about it now.

Western Zodiac: Sagittarius
Chinese Zodiac: Year of the Dog

Growing up, I'd only dare look up information about the Chinese Zodiac, why? I loved it. I didn't like the western Zodiac :C
In 6th grade I actually bothered to look up a little bit about my western zodiac sign. I read the very basics about personality traits of my sign... Immediately I thought the entire western zodiac was a load of bull. I never thought I complied to my zodiac sign. Though this summer I looked into it again and you know what? I still don't think I comply to most of my sign, but I found that I do comply to some of it.
The Chinese Zodiac on the other hand, I comply with 90% of the time.
I loved being a dog~~~

So yeah. This summer I looked into the western Zodiac because I got bored. I was playing around with my avi here on gaia and I was thinking about the item Zodiacal trying to make it work out with my avi. So after I did that I started a search. I looked up my sign and 2 other signs of my friends (cancer and aries).

Seeing it mention in Tobi's journal twice made me want to look it up again. I found this site

I read the basic personality traits and again thought it was bull, then I scrolled down to likes and dislikes and I thought the likes were pretty accurate (but only half of the dislikes) so I read it and found that I do somewhat comply to my sign.

then I found this site. I only bothered to read the positive and negative personality traits. Again I see myself complying to the the negatives and some of the positives.

Tactless and restless. Has a tendency to take those around them for granted. When energy is not focused or directed, may become depressed or restless. When depressed may demonstrate arrogance or self-pity.

I'm still really skeptical about the Western Zodiac, or at least my relation to it. It seems to be very accurate with my friends.

As I already said, I'm a dog and I love it. I do think I comply to being a dog. I've always loved dogs and I find myself to be awfully dog-like in personality. So the fact that I get to tie a zodiac animal around it is great for me~~

I'm also not at all skeptical about this zodiac. I find myself complying to it, I find most of my friends complying to it.
I'm a dog, the vast majority of my friends IRL are pigs, my brother's a rooster, both my parents are horses, my aunt's a snake. Yeah... I spend a lot of time looking into this kind of stuff x3 I even found out how old one of my student teachers were in 7th grade because I asked her what her chinese zodiac sign was (She's a dog c: )

This. This is really accurate the way I see it. Loyalty is something I'm great with <3 I do indeed value friendships, yes. Temperamental, stubborn, yes. Insecurities drive others away... yeah...
according to this I'm a Wood Dog. I comply to that kinda.
Compatibilities: Tiger and Horses, not compatible with Rooster and Dragon.
I don't know about that. the only horses I know are my parents, I dont know any tigers or dragons. But I don't get along with my bro, who is a Rooster *nods*

I have volume one of Fruits Basket. At the very end of the volume they have a little bit of the history of the Chinese Zodiac, the years and a few positives and negatives about each.
According to that:
Positives: Honest, generous, faithful
Negatives: Quiet, cynical.
I am honest, bluntly honest when online. I am generous.
I can be quiet, although I don't think I am. maybe quiet in the sense where I don't tell people what's wrong with me...
Cynical... heheheh... Yes. I didn't think that was right until literally all my friends told me I am indeed a very cynical person. My English teacher last year once commented on a speech I wrote "Hahah... How cynical." That made it official for me XD
