New York metro area, including Newark, is expected to get six to 12 inches of rain and 40 to 50 mph sustained winds when the storm hits early Sunday. The meteorologist said Irene likely will cause downed trees and power lines and flooded roads.
Well, there’s a hurricane following along the east coast and a lot of people are wondering the severity of it once it hits them. I’m not that concern with it because the most we’ll get is flooding and a couple of knocked down trees (but mostly some flooding). There might also be a power outage which I’m expecting and preparing for.
So yeah, the only thing that I’m worry about is a power outage. I need to find something to entertain me when it happens, especially for at night. I’m low on candles and there’s not that many flashlights around and I can’t waste it on reading a book or sketching.
