Rose; Clearing the Room
Rose shook her head and sighed. Just another one of these things, she supposed.
"My subjects..." Rose started, trailing off slightly only because she had never really called anyone that before, "I need you all to leave this room immediately. What you see is not what is real, but it is dangerous to the girl for you all to be here. Go, now, and things will be turned right." I hope. she added to herself.
As her own cabinet members and advisers and petitioners and staff and even the guards filed out of the room, Rose contemplated one thing. They deserved credit for taking her word on this so seriously, and without complaint. She would have to- discreetly- find out just how that had come about.
She plopped down on the floor once they were all gone.
"Okay, Flan. What needs to happen? If you need my Healing for her, you're going to have to give me a little bit of a break first."

Dennis; the Menace
Dennis stepped down off the ship and surveyed the forest on the other side of the coastline. So freaking green, it looked like someone had just poured paint over the entire area. He had half a thought that if he walked into the area, he too would become green. Ghastly.
The ship left as soon as he cleared the treeline, however, and Dennis smiled as he slipped among the trees completely invisible. His edges would be a prism-like blur to anyone looking at him, but he never really stayed in one spot too long. He had often been mistaken for a rustling wind, as there was little that changed or was heard in his passing.
Soon enough, he was on the outskirts of the capitol itself. The tree was- amazingly- just as large as they had described it. It had to be a half-mile in diameter. The canopy above was immense.
But he had a job to do. And it was a simple one- well, for him it would be. In and out, practically. Then to keep an eye out, make certain it took hold, and then report back. He knew that the council had omitted information from him- they'd made the entire prospect seem too easy- certainly something someone less expensive could have managed it- but he was ready for whatever might come.
Ten minutes later, he was heading back out to the outskirts of Green Shade, looking for a place to hide out. He couldn't remain blurred for much longer; an hour was his limit, and he was close to that now. But he needed to hide close by- where he could watch for the six days it would require to ensure success on the mission. He eventually found a hollowed out tree stump at the top of a small incline. He couldn't see all of Green Shade from there, but he could still see parts of the trunk of the tree. That would have to be close enough.
