"Stop following me!" The angel screamed at the persistent Demon that had been stalking her for weeks and now, openly follows her around, harassing her at almost every turn.
"And if i refuse?" He dared her, standing in her way, making himself look taller. The angel glared at him, and side-stepped him, before continuing on her way down the empty park path.
'There must be a way to get him to leave me alone.' She thought. 'He usually leaves right after our races.' She turned to him, "What is you're name?" she asked him, to begin with.
He smiled and replied "Never give names" That is the new rule, so I am told."
"And why is that?" she stopped walking to cross her arms and stare up at him. He stopped just short of bumping into the angel and answered "Knowledge is Power. If i give the enemy my name, they have power over me."
She looked him up and down, a little suspicion in her eyes, "Smart Daemons you are."
"Why do you say 'daemon'?" He asked, walking past her, turning around walking backwards, "It is pronounced "Demon"
"Well, i'll pronounce it however way I desire, and if my accent makes it sound like Daemon, then so be it." She stopped and took a different path, letting the Demon catch up to her if he wanted, which she didn't want, but he did anyway. He placed his hand on her shoulder and stopped her turning her around. "And you're name miss?" he asked in mock politeness.
"Don't say names." she answered stubbornly, staring him directly in the eyes.
"Alright, fair enough." the demon let go of her shoulder, and took a few steps back, showing his palms to her "Let's say, just for the sake of addressing ourselves, since I know, we WILL meet more than once" this he said with a smile "How's about you call me Daemon, as you do, and I call you Angel, as you are?"
The angel studied the Demon's body language, everything about it suggested honesty, but demons were very adept at faking honesty. Then again, what had he to hide? other than his name, he gave her a very reasonable alternative. "Fair Enough...Daemon." She looked at him one last time before turning her back to him, "What can I do to get you to leave me alone?"
A smile crossed Daemon's lips once more and he got close to Angel, real close. He leaned but a little bit to whisper in her ear "Just about nothing."
Angel took a deep breath before turning around to face him, "How about a race?" she suggested. His smile widened as he nodded, "So long as the rules are the same."
"Winner receives a kiss" She began stating the rules "Winner decides which part of the body the kiss be placed on, Loser decides specific location where to kiss."
"Good." Daemon walked past her, looking to the city ahead. "First to the other end of the city wins. A lot farther than usual, but," he turned to her when he said this, sarcasm evident on his face "I'm sure you can handle it." She couldn't help but shoot a glare at him before coming to stand next to him.
He spoke again in a very playful manner "Be ready to lose, because this time, you are kissing ME."
"Ha! Last four times YOU'VE lost." She mocked him "I will NEVER kiss you." she affirmed him, staring ahead at the city.
"We'll see about that." he said opening his wings. Angel spread hers as well "1..." She began to count,
"2..." he continued, taking a position where taking off would be easier.
"3!" Angel exclaimed as she took to the skies, same time as Daemon. and thus their fifth race began.
