It was a suggestion in the writer's forum that keeping a journal will help to keep you motivated to write. At first I thought, 'Well, I don't have a journal.' Then I had to slap myself. 'Duh, there's a journal on Gaia.' I log in about everyday so it would be simple to make a ritual to write about my day and thoughts, no?
Today, my sister had the day off so I didn't have to watch my nephew. I spent most of today reading. I reluctantly bought The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan. I'm half way through it. I'm not as disappointed in it as I was the first one, but I think I was setting myself up with the worst possible outcome. When I read the first one I thought it would 100% accurate >.> But the comment of Osiris being blue.... I banged my head against the wall. And it was in the first chapter and repeated again later. I want to scream ,"He's GREEN you Idiot! GREEN! AMUN is blue!" Otherwise, he hasn't made any other blatant mistakes, just the creative liberties that make me cringe (and further proving he's a Greek man through and through).
I had to run my sister to the bookstore to get a cookbook for my Mom. Hopefully she likes them. My sis got me pizza in return since I was craving it.
My nephew has a very late nap today, and I just don't understand why the rest of my family are afraid to enforce rules. Telling him he has to take a nap at a certain time whether he wants to or not is not going to cause him to grow up to be the next spawn of Satan. Quite the contrary, it's good for him because when he woke up he threw a horrible fit and is still very grumpy. *shakes head*
For writing, I have done none XD I did get on a roll the other day on working on Black Sand. I'm very excited about this chapter I'm on. I will be using my favorite legend about Se-Osiris ^^ On my fanfic, I'm on the second chapter. That's just a side project when I have no motivation to write Black Sand. And the only thing Fanfic about it is that it takes place in the universe of Kingdom Hearts. Otherwise, it's all original characters following their own plot and has nothing to do with the story of the games. I won't post it until it's finished because I really don't know when I will finish it. No point making people suffer long update times (though, I doubt anyone would want to read it since there is no slash pairing *rolls eyes*).
I have a drawing I'm working on to, but I haven't in a couple of days. Yay naked woman XD It's fun though. I like starting with learning the basics again. I need to work on building my skills.
Okay, I'm blabbing too much. Need to write about fictional stuff wink
