Easter
Easter to some is the gathering of plastic eggs, eating boiled eggs and chocolate ones, and searching for the Easter Bunny. To me, Easter is about the week that Jesus completed what he came here to do, die for us. Now I enjoy an egg or two myself, but his victory over death, Hell, and the grave is worth more. The salvation that Jesus gave on the cross, and his resurrection on the third day is the very reason I can live now; there is no greater way to spend Easter then with God. Go ahead mock me for spending the week before Easter this way, if you feel that way, don't dig deeper into the sweet candy, but you'll never know what treat that your missing unless you feel the same way.
