Edge, the town that lives on the outskirts of the fallen Minneapolis of the town once known as Midgar. Kiera had never been to the city, but the girl could imagine what Midgar had once looked like before it was destroyed by a SOLDIER who had learned the truth about his origins and had wanted the planet dead. That person...was Sephiroth. Sephiroth... He used to be a man that many people had honored and called Hero. He was the best of the best, nobody could beat him in a fight. Kiera sighed and pulled out her notebook. She started at the front for a few seconds before flipping it open to the section labeled SHINRA SECRETS and quickly scanned the information that was written there to refresh her memory on a grim past that she hadn't been around for. According to her notes, Sephiroth used to have two friends that also belonged in SOLDIER, and who also had grim pasts. Genesis Rhapsodes, a First-Class SOLDIER who had gone MIA during his mission in Wutai was suffering from degradation due to some unknown reason, had caused the Shinra Electric Company a lot of trouble for a steady five years, had disappeared. Gone without a trace. Angeal Hewley, another First-Class SOLDIER, had been killed by his friend Zack Fair, a teenager who had finally made First-Class himself. The girl sighed and closed the notebook, her eyes scanning the area carefully to make sure she was still alone.
