it's been bothering me lately, this society we live in. it's so stubborn in it's judgment, there is no room for reasoning. this has become the culture, it seems. it's so diverse and ambiguous, i still wonder why people are so stubborn in their beliefs. take my father, for example. when i was a child, i thought nothing of his preachings about extra terrestrials and his theories of the universe. as i grow up, his rantings become more... intense. my sister and i both agree; our father is a stubborn socialist. he believes everything he reads about aliens that makes sense to him, he is blind to the reasoning that we put out on the table. he shoots down our own theories and beliefs because he knows it is the truth that he his spewing out of his mouth.
don't get me wrong, i love my father. the only thing is that i do not see him as a father, more like a friend, since we do not live together and barely see each other. i wish it wasn't like this.
thank you irene.
