Exploding Car, Letter of Complaint 11-10-2010
In English class, we were assigned to make up a letter of complaint and address it to some random company (it can be fictional or real). I decided to make up a really random story about a car exploding. When I was done writing this fictional complaint letter, I decided that it was an amusing story, so I decided to post it lol.

"Dear Manager:
I am a long time buyer of your cars. I normally find your cars very safe and excellent. However, when I purchased your 2012 edition SUV for $90,000, it did not take me long to realize that the car was defective. When I put my foot on the accelerator, the car did not move until I put it in park, despite this being a contradictory statement. As I was driving, I also logically assumed that putting my foot on the brakes would stop the car. This assumption, however, was incorrect. When I put my foot on the brakes, the car accelerated. The noise the engine made when I did this was enough to burst my right eardrum. The car was heading straight for a gas station, and I could not stop it. I attempted to turn, but the steering wheel fell off. In a last attempt to stop the car, I put the gears into reverse and stepped on the accelerator. It began to slow down, but not fast enough. When the car made impact with the gas station, the car and the station exploded. Had I not leapt out of the moving vehicle a few seconds prior to the unavoidable collision, I would have been blown to pieces. With a stroke of luck, no one was seriously injured.
I spoke with my lawyer about the incident, and he suggested that I notify you, the manager, about the event.
I have been informed that I have the right to get a refund after this event. I like your company’s cars, though I do not wish to use them again.
