The need for enlightenment |

There is no better way to start a work, or turn a page, if its not from the beginning.
My name was lost aeons ago. Around twelve thousand years. But I gained a title that have been used towards my being so constantly that it became some sort of name as well. Be my guest; all who meet me call me as the "Gameplay Hero".
I believe you who reads this finds great oddity in such title or name. It relates to my origin. I am a being from a universe called Diveo Gema, that is composed of a different matter than the major number of universes inside the infinity; instead of atoms composed of quarks, my world is composed of data and light, that we call Pixels. This means that I am also made of such matter. I am different from you, and in more way than merely this one.
I left that world a long time ago, when I had to make the sacrifice in order to save all that I loved. I caused a paradox and saved my world, but as a price, I was exiled to live outside my own universe. It was a really long time ago, and besides missing my home world every single second I live, I have no regret.
Cast outside my universe, I found myself seeing behind the curtains of the reality, and found a "place", for a lack of a better term, where all paths to all possible universes connect. I started to walk into those universes and literally lived whole lifes inside those places. I soon discovered to be immortal and with power beyond the gods to get out of reality anytime I wished for. And eventually, I met others like me. We called ourselves as the "Infinity Striders" and we wandered beyond forever, inside as many universes that we could reach, but forever cursed to never return to our homes, or fulfill our greater needs. I still dream of my Diveo Gema, but I came in terms that I may never find it again. "May", as I have yet to lose hope...
Some of those universes I wandered in, to my surprised, remembered certain elements of my home world. A few familiar faces, similar phenomenons, but those would never recognize me. But it was only in one of the endless versions of the "Earth Planet universe" that I found the truth. All those worlds were actually stories of make believe, always connected with an specific kind of media: the video games. You probably know what a video game is, since much later I found how incredibly common are those devices inside all universes, but back in the day was a surprise. My world was entirely composed of elements related to video games, and all my friends and foes were characters of those digital stories.
As my powers related to the real versions of the video game's universes - including Diveo Gema, where all those dreams were alive, real and together - the other Striders started to address to me as the "Gameplay Hero", a title that I too find it fitting enough to be branded as a "name".
If I am here at Gaia Online, is because I once crossed the gates where all universes converge and ended up here. I never know what is behind a path until I reach my destination. However, Gaia is very unique, since I have entered this universe four times in the past. In the last time, I left Gaia for good.
Yet, here I am. Back and without any clue of what conspired to my return, when everything I learned in those thousands of years wandering in the infinity tells me I could not be able to return. And worse: I cannot leave as well.
This entry is merely to give me a starting point. I am Gameplay Hero, an Infinity Strider trapped inside a multiverse called Gaia Online, which I became found after three visits, and that has now brought me back to Her. I need to understand what, how and why this has happened, and for this, enlightenment is required. My powers fail me at this our, so I must learn all that I don't know.
The objective of this journal is to study Gaia and understand it fully. If not to find a solution to my or Her problem, to solve all the enigmas that had me wondering for some time. All its myths, facts and powers... I will discover then all.
