Sarcasm in a Can
This journal has sarcasm, notes, scribblings, cans, and rantings. All packed in a small 5 x 5 journal bound between two smashed cans. The front is a tin can previously containing fruit, and the back unknown. Read at own risk.
Latest Works
n___n I've been drawing and CGing a lot lately. I've discovered if I'm really motivated, I can color a Full Body CG with a basic theme and background in an about four hours. Not bad, eh? ^^
So anyway, these are my latest works organized from newest to oldest. ^^ click to see large version! &3333

Date Created/Finished: March 9th (One day's work! ^^)
Estimated Time Spent: Three Hours (mostly done in class)
Artist's Comments: (Best seen in large version) This is for one of my best friends IRL and online, Vietlyfe! 4laugh I did the sketch of it in science (3rd per), colored with pencil in math (4th per) and edited and stuff in social studies (6th per). This is not my best, but I don't hate it either. My most favored about this piece is the curls. ^^ This is teh first time I've done lolita hair by hand and I like how it turned out. I'm not particularly fond of the original copy, but I like it enough to want to keep it. :]

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Titled: Autumn's Whisper
Date Created/Finished: March 2nd / March 8
Estimated Time Spent: Two Days on Lineart, 6 and a Half Hours on CGing
Artist's Comments: (BEST seen in large version) I really like this one. ^^ It's one of the better OCs that I've come up with, since my obsession with creating outfits normally don't go well. I worked this off my insperation that lingered in my mind for quite a few months before deciding to apply it to paper. I feel that this one really speaks to me. Originally, the outfit was going to be fully brown/tan/gold in terms of pigments for color, but somehow I think pink wormed into it when I was coloring. ^^ I really like this theme, Autumn, although it is already Spring. On the original paper copy, her eyes are different. When I was CGing it, I decided there was definate structure issues with the placement of the eyes, so I erased it and re-drew it. I think It turned out for the better. :] I think this one is one of the few ones that follows closely to my original concept, which makes me happy to think about. I was actually planning this one last year (?) somewhere around Autumn, but I don't think I got around to actually drawing it until this month.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Titled: Dragon's Rose
Date Created/Finished: Jan 5-06 / March 7
Estimated Time Spent: A week on the lineart (then dramaticly edited again this month) / Four and a Half hours on CGing
Artist's Comments: Okay, so this has nothing to do with dragons and hardly anything with roses. My original concept included dragons and lots of roses, but I think that idea got lost somewhere when I applied it to paper. This is an OC that strangely looks like my old avatar, as I've been told a couple times. This one isn't bad, but I think I outlined it too thick in most parts. &o& Damn you 03 Pigma Pen! Anyway, the background was thought up at the spurr of the moment. My original background included a dragon or summat, but once again was lost when it was applied to paperI almost feel as if I didn't spend enough time on this one, but I think there wasn't really much to work with to begin with. But I'm satisfied with it enough to say I'm done with it. ^^

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Title: Flying Piggies
Date Created/Finished: Feb 26-06 / March 6
Estimated Time Spent: Two Days on the lineart, Five and a Half Hours on the CGing
Artist's Comments: ooo, this is an art trade for my friend Flying Piggies (Although her art to me was so much more amazing than the art I did for her >o< wink . I think I could have done better on the hair, but I love how the scarf, jacket and skirt came out. My favorite part of this piece would prolly be the skirt. I had SO much fun doing the lace (same technique applied on autumn's whisper) pattern on teh skirt. I like the folds on the jacket as well. I think this is one of the few times where the folds look slightly realistic in terms of shading. The background is just vibrant enough to make the picture stand out. <33
