It's that scenario, where girl loves boy but he don't know
It's the sick trick of the heart.
It's where he tells her what she don't want to hear
like "I love her" "I want her" "I need her"
It's that type of song where everything is words and wrong
He doesn't care is a strong statement
But sometimes I wonder.

Would you rescue my heart from the thunder?
Capture all the butterflies?
Would you hide the sun in the summer
Just so I didn't have to see it rise?
Would you cry if I died?
Would you hug me if I was afraid?
Would you try to make me feel alright?
Do you think about me every day?
