*yes i drew that, lol!
When I was about seventeen years old, I wrote this thing on love after weeks of asking questions, interrogations and gathering my thoughts.
so anyways..
Love; It's an inexplainable yet incredibly strong feeling for someone...Most people use the word "love" to get into someone else's pants.
Love is an overused word in today's society, people say they love someone because of the way they look or how they act. They get into a relationship without thinking about it thoroughly, which in the end, results in things they do not wish to seek.
Why? Because that isn't love. Love is when you can't do anything without thinking about that person, you always want to be with them. It's not that you want to have sex with them, you just want to spend time with them and you just want to hold them and never let go. Love can be fooling, you can think you're in love and it can lead to the most horrible feeling in the world. You can wait so long for someone, loving them, and waiting for them to love you back, but they don't return it.
For a long time you can spend years thinking and thinking and it tears you up inside. But if ever that person realizes that they love you back it's miraculous.
What is Love?
Are your palms sweaty, is your heart racing? And is your voice caught within your chest?
It isn't love, it's like.
You can't keep your eyes or hands off them, am I right?
It isn't love, it's lust.
Are you proud and eager to show them off?
It isn't love, it's luck.
Do you want them because you know they're there?
It isn't love, it's loneliness.
Are you there just 'cause it's what everyone wants?
It isn't love, it's loyalty.
Do you stay for their confessions of love, because you don't wanna hurt them?
It isn't love, it's pity.
Are you willing to give all of your favorite things for their sake?
It isn't love, it's charity.
Are you there because they kissed you, or held your hand?
It isn't love, it's insecurity.
Do you pardon their faults because you care about them?
It isn't love, it's friendship.
Do you tell them everyday they are the only one you think of?
It isn't love, it's a lie.
But do you accept their faults because they're a part of who you are? Do you see their true heart, and touch your soul so deeply it hurts? Are you attracted to others, but stay with them faithfully without regret? Would you give them your heart, your life, your death and stay because a blinding incomprehensible mix of pain and elation pulls you close and holds you?
Now that's Love...
