WELL, it's certainly been a while since I've had a note worthy strange dream. Last night's was... different.
I wasn't human, in fact I'm not sure what I was, but I found a sort of... tear in time and space I guess. Well, I went
through the hole and into this alternate dimension. I made friends quickly and we had a lot of fun. The place was
bright and happy, and then things turned dark, and one person declared himself the new leader of the "land". He was
a horrible and powerful tyrant, and tried to turn a few of my friends and I into his minions, and by now we'd discovered
a hole that would lead us back to Earth. He stuck us in a room with the thing that would turn us into minions, and as
soon as he was gone we started plotting our escape. Then he held a party to celebrate his power and my friends and
I tried to disguise ourselves as his minions and tried to get in through the front door, past him. Well, sadly he was
smart as well as powerful. He knew we hadn't transformed, but before he could do anything the hole came above us
and we got through it. But we weren't on Earth. I ended up alone in a mansion. In the room was a cute little girl, who
turned out to be the tyrant's puppet, who he could channel his power through and project himself into the room with. I
either ran through a door or jumped out the 5 story high window and somehow ended up back on Earth, in the front
passenger seat of a car... with no driver. I somehow got into the driver's seat and managed to sort of drive (even
though I have no idea how to), and eased on the break, looking for a place where I could turn off the road and park so
I could get a hold of my mother through my cell phone. I ended up on the high way, which scared me to death
because of the speed limit. Thankfully there got to a point where there was a truck turned sideways, blocking two of
the three lanes, and... pine trees growing in the middle of the road.... Everyone was going around the truck so I
slowed down and pulled up in front of it. Weird lady came out and was overjoyed that someone actually stopped, and
she thought I stopped for her. So she gave me a miniature onion in thanks. I looked at the time on my phone and
called the number I thought best to reach my mom. She answered saying there was an emergency, and practically
ignored the fact that I was lost. The woman's truck randomly turned into an RV and we walked off the highway into a
forest.. We ended up in a house that looked exactly like mine, but I somehow knew it wasn't. The lady was going
through the room that looked like mine saying that it was definitely a girl's room. Things turned dark and I woke up.

The Mind
Mainly a record of my more interesting dreams that I was able to remember after waking up. (Apparently my uncontrollable confessions, as well. In the form of poetry. All to the same man.)
If the boy who draws
lets you look over his shoulder.
If the poet
smiles
and shows you her words.
If the girl who sings for the shower only,
hums a song
in front of you.
Know that you’re no longer a person
but the air
and dust
that fills their lungs.
When the world perishes,
and all things cease to exist,
you’ll remain inside an ink stain,
a paint brush,
a song.
