A long slow laborous death. Well, maybe not that, but i hope the ******** mods stub all of their toes at the same time badly. Whoever thought it would be a ******** good idea to have this many ads on Gaia? Whoever did should be beaten.
OK, apparently, it's my COMPUTER that's doing it. Any one know what to do when it keeps taking you to an ad, saying "Visit out Sponser?" What sponser? I'm confused sad Help?
Why is Tiger upset, you may ask? Well, it might have something to do with the fact that I had all this already typed out, and what happens? It goes to that ******** ad, and freezes. And then what happens? I LOSE EVERY THING!!!!! scream *sing song voice* Ti-ger's gon-na kiiiiilllllllllll iiiiiiitttttttttt.
So then. Let's RETYPE the bunch of paragraphs that I had typed ever so lovely. Just what I want to do stare
Let's see... where did I start? Oh yes. Our senior class project. Every year, the senior class raises money for a Senior Project. Like getting new sound systems for the school. This year, we're raising money for a school hit by Katrina. They sent us a video, showing their town before and after, and I almost cried. There are only like 4 schools there, and 3 of them were damaged so that no one can go in them any more. One was completely leveled. So, all the kids are squeezed into one school. I'm really glad that we're raising money for them. I've sold 39 tickets. It doesn't hurt that selling 15 gets you out of class, and 25 gets you a free prom ticket. Plus, my teacher is offering extra credit for it. But, omg, these kids in the class when they showed the video... I wanted to smack them. They didn't seem to appreciate exactly what this meant... that this was people's LIVES... made me appreciate what I have here.
On that note, not all people who go to church are good people. Besides sending money, we want to send a couple of students to the graduation. Their gradutation is the same day that our senior picnic is, and the day before prom. They already moved Senior icnic back a week, and wanted to put it to a vote to move prom back a week too. Great! I mean, this way, the ones who go don't have to worry about rushing to get back for prom, prom and sr. picnic are together as they have always been, and it's a three day weekend. But no... these two girls, JUNIORS, I might add, who have another chance to go to prom, start whining that they have plans that weekend, and "Why do we have to send people anyway? Why can't we just send money?" ANYONE CAN ******** SEND MONEY! It's something special to take TIME and go there. The worst part? One girl is a preacher's kid, and the other is "active" in the chruch. Gr, that annoys me.
Moving on to more people that annoy me: I am going for this big scholarship called the Teaching Fellows. There are 8 (I think) girls going out for it, including me in my school. With the exception of one or two people, NONE of them deserve it. But they have as good a chance of getting it, cause their newspaper editor, or president of Future Teachers of America. She does s**t for that club. Ugh. That just bugs the crap out of it. Why should they get it when they don't need it, and aren't even that dedicated? Idiots.
MOVING ON! Just so you know, pretty much this whole enrty is a rant on various subjects. I dunno, these things are getting to me. So, I shall rant, as I've been doing, and hopefully feel better.
OK, Emily. Y'all should know her. I talk about her frequently. Can I kill her? She is really getting on my nerves recently. She puts herself on a pedistal and puts everyone around her down. For example: Last year, on the AP project, I got a 90, and she got a 91. She's telling one of our teachers what she got, and says, "I got higher than Amy. She got a 90." OK, I will tell people what my grade is. Not you. Another thing she does is let's say that a person says "I'm hot," she'll go "No you're not!" OK, that can really hurt. Especially with low self esteem. My mom said it first, actually. About how she puts others down, and I'm noticing it more and more. Not to mention the fact that she says to someone the other day "Amy is the most dependant person I know." Uh, yeah. Just cause I don't have a job or a car does not mean that I am completely dependent on your "charity." If you don't want to drive me, then don't. I have other ways to do things. Get over yourself. And the other day, she has our friend Karen's jacket. Karen wants it. Emmy doesn't have it. So, Karen says to put it in her car when we go Holbrook. Emmy cannot find Karen's car. So, she doesn't do it. Karen calls after school to ask Emmy to bring it over, and she dances around the question, never giving her a straight answer as she drives to her house. Karen has to work, and go to look for a car. So, we're almost at Karen's house, and we get stuck waiting for a train, and Karen calls and says "Screw it. My mom came and we're going to look at the car." And Emmy gets all pissy with her! I stayed quiet. Anyway, that's that.
This is the first time in February that I've written... pretty bad. What happened to it being the month of Love? Everyone I know seems to be having problems. I mean, let's see. A friend of a friend is dating this complete a**. I mean, you look up the defination of a** hole, and there's his picture. He doesn't know how to treat women, and he only wants her for sex. Friends try to warn her, and she gets ticked off. *sighs* And more drama on the bus: Eric has a crush on Marah, and tells his brother David. David blabs it to everyone. Marah is freaked. Eric + Marah = just friends. And she tells him so. Not to mention the fact that she's interested in someone else. *sighs again* Oh, and remember friend D I mentioned a couple of entries ago? The girl admitted she lied to him. He's doing a lot better than I thought. Nyah, this bites. And me? I'm alone.
Well, on the bright side, I have made a college decision ^_^ I'm going to Western Carolina University. Yay me.
It finally snowed yesterday xd First snow of the winter. It didn't stick, and the sun came out while it was still snowing, but it was nice while it lasted biggrin
Um... anything else? No, I don't think so. So, I shall give ye all a quote ^_^ "The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up" -Mark Twain. Be prepared for a lot of these blaugh I have a whole book of em xd
