He swam over to her, laughing as the lake rippled around him. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked, curling up on the shore.
"I'd rather not, but if it's with you, then I'd be willing to do anything," she murmured, taking off her shoes to dip her toes into the water.
"It's okay, my family owns this lake. You can be in here with me all you want," he took her calf and tugged a little.
"Don't you even think about pulling me in! I'm still in my dress! What if my cell phone gets all wet?!" she shrieked.
"Chill. I wasn't going to pull you in," he laughed, dipping back underneath the water. The sun shone behind him brightly, the evening sunset as picturesque as ever. The reds and yellows of the casting rays faded into the purples and blues of the oncoming nighttime sky, enveloping the air with a pinch of humidity and the wonderful scent of the night air after a long day of rainfall.
"Sure you weren't," she slid back out and took off her dress, revealing her bathing suit underneath. "I came prepared, as you had asked!"
"I see you have," he moved a little farther away, just to grab a better view from farther away. Her pale skin contrasted with the black bikini, but her figure was such inexplicably amazing to him as she caressed her upper arms before she decided to dip her toes once more in the water. "You need any help?"
"No, I think I can handle this by myself," her jaw began to jitter when her body began to react to the oncoming cold of the late summer night.
