Saddened by this the girl continued her walk home, the gray gloomy morning now affected her. She became cold and started to shiver and she felt a new presence around her.
The wind spirit came to her and said "Do not mourn for the loss of the little leaf". Clutching her hands in fury "Then why did you take him from me?" cried the girl tears running down her face. The wind spirit replied very calmly "the earth mother called him back" as he reaches over to wipe her tears away. The spirit's hand felt like a warm summer breeze "though he is gone now, the seeds he carried will contain his essence and he will remember the kindness that you showed him." he said "I will return to you when your friend is born anew if you hold him in your heart". With those words the spirit dispersed.
The air around the girl was warm now, she decided to trust the wind spirit with the brightest of hope to see her friend again so she waited...
The dawn had passed, afternoon came and gone, the night seemed ever-present.
She did not have many friends, all in her school were very social, constantly talking, they always had something new to talk about. She could never understand what any of it meant always looking in from the outside. Wishing she could bring up some kind of new topic to their chatter that would be recognized but by the time she could think of one the bell would ring.
The dawn had passed, afternoon came and gone, the night seemed ever-present.
She went for another morning walk on her way to the school she feels so distant from. the morning was cool and bright the sun made the the colors of her neighborhood vibrant and joyful. These mornings she loves to enjoy taking slower steps to look up at the clouds. Feeling sad when she reaches her school but reassured because she found a familiar place. She connects all places to her heart, that way, she is never uncertain. This day went like most she talks to the people that she normally sees every day. Does she consider these to be her friends? She would gladly take time out of her day to make theirs a little brighter even if she can just smile at them. None would do the same for her and she does not show it but it hurts her deepest of all.
The dawn had passed, afternoon came and gone, the night seemed ever-present...

"Listen, Simon. Never forget this. Believe in yourself. Not in the Simon that i have faith in, not in the Kamina that you believe in either. Believe in the Simon who believes in you." -Bro
