every time we meet I have to go somewhere and every time I pop in he is not in his office. Anyway, my father just made me want to quit playing guitar or trying to do anything for that matter, but I'll forget to care about what his little brain thinks in a few seconds. Is my playing guitar really that horrible, plain truth please, I'll just stop doing what I suck at ^^ simple logic, and move on to something else I can hopefully do better ^^
*frowns* I like listening to you play, even if it's over the phone......*sigh* Why don't you just move out of your parent's house if they're gonna be jerks?
they are not jerks all the time and I fail at life on my own ^^
Well if they aren't encouraging you to do something, then they are jerks. You like playing and if they are saying something to discourage you from it, then I think that's being awfully jerky.

What did your dad say to make you not want to play?
he tried to call me for some random reason (I have three missed calls), and left me a voicemail, which he talked to me about a few minutes ago. He criticized my waiting message for valid reasons (no one wants to leave a message after waiting for minutes, and the music makes people want to hang up), and said that I'm an idiot for having such a voicemail and for trying to show off with my lack of skill at guitar, and lack of ability to play or sing ^^ I said that besides me, he is an idiot himself.

The voicemail said something similar: I'm an idiot and have an idiotic voicemail.
well, he has some points though, usually voice mails are supposed to have your name, and phone number so that the people know they dialed the right number, and what not like that. But I don't think you're lousy at playing, because the more you play, the better you get, remember, practice makes perfect. *rolls eyes* but saying you are an idiot is just idiotic in itself.
None of what you said proves him wrong ^^
