No one can know the pain of separation as well as the one who is left behind. Rylee knew this pain just as well as everyone else. He wished he could have done more. He prayed that she had forgiven him. Everything he did for her came from the depths of his heart. The heart riddle with pain and spite that only she could clear. He only listened to her, she was the only one worthy enough. She tried to keep him on the right path even when she was walking down the wrong one. He did his best to stay on it. He really did! But, it was never enough... Who would he turn to? What will happen if she isn't there to save him? Why was he so frail? He depended on her like a mother...because she was his mother. His actual mother had left him with a father that wanted to do with him. This stranger offered the weeping boy somewhere to run to. He never knew that it would evolve to something like this. No one can know the pain of separation as well as the one who is left behind. Everyone around him looked down upon him. He was worthless and better off rotting in the ground. He was ready to accept this fate with open arms. But there was always something stopping him, telling him to keep going. Dianna had become his life line. She was there after he tried to kill himself, and she was there when he was almost killed. She had was always there lending a hand. Where was he when she needed him most? He never thought about this before. She would never say a word even when he knew that he was supposed to stand beside her. He was pathetic.
He knew this pain from long ago but now with considerable sorrow. He never meant to be this way but he clung to her like he had done for so long now. Dianna had given him the one thing that he would forever cherish. Friendship. They had been friends for as long as he could remember. As they grew older he started to feel more for her. Love. Something so foreign took a toll on him. No one can know the pain of separation as well as the one who is left behind. When Vincent came into the picture he felt pushed away and betrayed. She had lost her pedestal, no longer a savior in his eyes. How dare she not have the same feelings as he?! It took him months to finally accept it. She had tried to explain that she did love him, but he wanted more. He was so selfish and she tried to give him the space that he needed. He was so wrapped up in his self he never noticed how much he had hurt her... When Tristan was born he swore he would change. He would protect him like Dianna protected him. But the day he found out that she had died, he couldn't even bring himslef to be in the same room as the child. He had pushed everyone away just like he did when was a child. He was starting over, destined to fall in the grips of the darkness this time...He was completely alone this time.
No one can know the pain of separation as well as the one who is left behind.
