Why is it that we are considered better?
Why are we supreme?
Why is a wolf considered
So much lower than a human being?

Because we are intelligent,
is that what they say?
If we are so smart, then why is War,
the deadly game we play?

A bear wont murder a rabbit,
plainly out of spite,
Whilst we have five pointless killings,
in each city, every night.

Is the lady so different from a lion
Merely because she can speak?
Maybe the lion chooses so,
Because he finds words weak.

Animals feel no gluttony,
No envy and no greed,
they take what they need to live,
No limits will they exceed.

So why are we superior?
Why see ourselves so greatly?
I don't know the answer,
ask the lion and the lady.
