Well my Goodness! I've been certainly lazy about writing in this. For starters on Tuesday I gave the boys a half day so they could go home early. By that I mean home to Italy, then we went through ours towns and gave out charity, Cookies, and Carols we covered that in a few hours and then I visited with Great Uncle Angelo and Great Aunt Nicola. It was lovely visiting and having luncheon with them. Then when it was time to leave I decided to let the boys with families still in Italy stay for a week or two. It really was a heart rendering scene watching mothers, sisters, brothers, fiances, grandparents, nieces and nephews saying goodbye with tears and hugs. Then I remembered Stephan and the face of his wife when we brought him home for that last time a few weeks ago and how I probably, no definitely ruined Christmas for his family and the guilt and the fear at the back of my mind that there was always a possibility that this their last Christmas together as a family. Honestly I couldn't find it in my heart to take them back yet. And when I told them they could stay for a while longer they told me that they wanted to stay with me too, well it was sweet of them but I saw their faces and the faces of there loved ones and knew I was doing the right thing. On Wednesday I told the guys that I had 12 flights waiting. One to England, France, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Argentina, The Dominican Republic, Spain, and Russia, and they could go on any of them home to families or to visit friends. Then I had to apologize for my lack of connections in Africa,and the lack of flights to Asia. But they could take another flight once they got there since it is my fault. (I've had problems with the chinese, and korean governments not to mention most of Africa doesn't welcome me.....)
And after most of them left it was just me and my old friends alone in my huge House (It has to be bigger than it seems when near a hundred people live there) It was just Pablo, Tony, Aidan , Donovan , Muhammad or MD as we call him since he's a doctor and everything, Scott, Brenden and Ryan left.(last one's a girl) They were my first recruits, back when I was only 12 years old. I'll never forget how proud I was when told Great Uncle Angelo. WELL THAT'S ANOTHER STORY! ON christmas I got about 10 from the Family and About 200 from the OTHER family. I got the new 2010 Lotus Elise. A beautiful piece of work. To be completely honest though I had a few too many brandy Alexanders, about 3 and I was wasted.
