I found the following lines posted on one of my friend's profiles:

How can man look at a zebra,and say God isn't real?
How can man witness a tornado,and say God doesn't exist?
How can man read the Bible,and persist world just 'became'?
How can man see they are fully alive,and believe they were made from something else?
How can man study His word for years,and dare say it isn't true?
How can man 'know' when God is coming?
Spread the word of God...
Copy/paste to everyone to make SURE God is in their lives...

I'm not trying to "convert" anyone's beliefs or say that their beliefs are wrong or make a big deal about it. I just thought it would be something interesting to rant about.

1.) Some people believe that zebras have the stripes that they do so that they can recognize each other because every single zebra has it's own different and unique pattern of stripes. In my opinion, a more well developed theory states that the zebra's stripes are a camouflage mechanism. You're probably wondering how they can be camouflaged by being colored (or "non-colored"...supposed to be a funny thing...) black and white in their natural habitat. If you think about that fact that most animals are colorblind then you can understand how their coloring helps them to blend in and remain camouflaged from the eyes of lions or other predators. Sometimes, if a zebra stands still it cannot be detected by lions at all and in herds if they are moving all at once it can appear as a large animal, intimidating and confusing their predators.

2.) A tornado is a powerful funnel-shaped column of spiraling air that occurs naturally when warm, moist air collides with colder, drier air. When the warm air rises, it may meet varying wind directions at different altitudes. If the varying winds are staggered in just the right manner, with sufficient speeds, they will act on the upward rising air and spin it like a top.

3.) The world did not "just become." The world came to be by the Big Bang Theory, as did the rest of the solar system and the universe. You cannot create something from nothing, so the world could not have just "became."

4.) Let me answer that question with a question. How can man see they are fully alive, and believe they were made by something that they don't know the location of, how it operates or what it is?

5.) We can say it isn't true because we have found and provided proof for other theories that can explain how the Earth is what it is and how we are what we are through the Big Bang Theory and evolution, not just a statement that says, "Everything was created in seven days by the hands of something that we do not understand, only accept."

6.) We don't know. Those who believe in "Him" don't know either. And for those who don't believe in "Him" know or say that "He" won't ever come.

*I put quotations around the words "Him" and "He" due to my own beliefs on the subject, not out of disrespect.*

Again, these are only my beliefs. I believe in the scientific method of things above religion. I meant no disrespect or anything of the sort to anyone when typing this journal. I only did this because I thought it would be interesting and I was bored. ><
