Appearance: Dresses in nice, but functional clothes, suited for an informal meeting, or a duel of blades. If a sword is unable to be worn in public, he carries a hardwood cane that contains an epee inside of it.
Personality: A consummate gentleman, and quite the good teacher, he is also a professional in public, with only a slight weakness for women and wine. In battle, his cool veneer becomes as cold and hard as steel, and he’s known for bravely, sometimes recklessly diving into the fray.
Background: Born to an affluent doctor, he was trained to have intimate knowledge of both swordplay and medicine. He used it to his advantage in earlier duels, either killing his opponents outright (which he mostly did when he was younger) or subduing his opponent in as few moves as possible. He won a fencing tournament and used his earnings to become a certified fencing instructor. He has taken on students of nobility recently, but maybe he’ll change if offered a chance for adventure…
