he's addicted, but he's supplies will vanish,
when he's not able to see her smile again,
and the time where she has to go is too soon.
coming closer and closer,
while he stands helpless on the sideline.
he's trying to force a rehab through
- by staying out of her sight.
but as time goes by, counted in minutes,
it gets harder and harder, to the point of unbearable.
yes, he's addicted,and the moment she's gone,
he will fade away and die.
he loved her more than his own life,
and now she's dying,
and what is all that love worth?
all the feelings overflothing in his heart
cannot safe the one person he values above his own heartbeat.
he's certain of one thing:
their connected hearts beat together and stop together.
she's pleading of him, repeating ''don't do it'' over and over,
so that it lingers in him like a strong echo.
of course she'd have figured out his thoughts by one glance into his eyes.
''don't hurt me more by doing it. I can't die peacefully, knowing you'll...''
she can't even say the words, and of course, he promise not to...
but she -as well as himself- knows the truth better than that.
love makes us stronger
-strong enough to make decisions we'd never dare to make,
if we were alone and loveless.
sometimes, that makes us stronger -better,
and sometimes, that kills us.
killing what we live for, is killing us, in one way or another.
have you once found the purpose of life in another person,
you'll stand and fall together.
even if your heart keeps beating alone after tragedy.
it'll make small difference.
small chances.
small minds, narrowing by the loss of purpose.
loss of someone with greater influence on you than you.
for those, that can't fight, at least.
if you're strong,
you go on, with a piece of your heart left in a grave,
but still the rest left.
he wasn't, I ain't, you should be.
