living a limitless life,
she was a spoiled child,
never experienced hardships.
we saw her through the windows to her home -like a palace.
she never saw us.
she never looked out.
she never longed for anything.
because she had no imagination to wish for anything
that money couldn't buy.
living in that other world
-to me, it looked like a cage.
but the bird that has not been set free,
cannot know freedom.
like we could not know about her isolation
-good or bad.
she was unreachable,
until she saw the sky outside.
she began to wish, I think.
but when we waved at her, she turned away.
used to not seeing us, smiling, playing.
she when back to her dolls, with their perfect, smiling and stiff face.
she was a girl with no smile, she was too trained, to loom like her dolls.
she was like them.
her strings were not to be cut, so she could go free.
