The RP plotline is outlined below:
There are three gods of the corresponding planets:
Mars,
Jupiter,
Venus.
The god of Mars has been trying to pull the god of Venus into his bed for at least fourteen years now. Being that his is a wealthy planet, and Mars was able to get anything he could possibly desire as a child, he is prone to throwing violent fits of rage when he cannot have Venus easily. Due to his position as the god of war, he is an excellent fighter and a passionate and fertile lover to boot. He's very arrogant and is aware of how handsome he is, which he is quick to point out to Venus, even if the context of the situation or conversation had no relevance to it. Mars is brave to the point where some believe he is just plain stupid - he will speak his mind regardless of how appropriate the way he phrases it is, and pick a fight with complete strangers, just to prove his dominance.Mars and Jupiter have been more or less friendly rivals with each other since childhood, until the new child of Venus was born and they both fell in love (or lust, as the case might be.) For all his outgoing and active characteristics, he can be quite knowledgeable about the ways of the universe and he can be a great seducer when the blood flows north instead of south. Mars is often dressed in expensive silks and gem tones and expensive jewelry. He's offered many rings to Venus in hopes to get his attention.
Jupiter is not the smartest nor the strongest, but nor is he the dumbest or the weakest. His is a kingdom of fertility in all forms - those born of Jupiter, and those living there will tell you how fertile the men, the women, and the farmlands all are. He's always been very healthy, so he is quick to recover from his fist-fights with Mars. He often bequeaths gifts of flowers or fruit to Venus in an attempt to win his heart. He's almost always hospitable, if a little gullible at times - four times Mars has ripped him off, for the lulz, usually. Jupiter would be the type to be robbed and smile while it was happening, wishing his robber the best of luck. He loves horses and other farm animals, because, hey, that's what he grew up with. Jupiter makes simple gifts, many of which are handcrafted, like shoddy pottery or a crappy poem, but they always have his big heart behind it. He'd be a little too weak to give Venus the same protection Mars has sworn to give.
Venus is a deity guarding women, small children, and a heavy follower in the idea of destiny - very romantic, very sweet, and maybe, on occasion, a little bit too trusting. Not stupid, but a little too quick to believe in the people about him. He can be flirty after a few glasses of wine, and has easily driven mortal men mad from his beauty. Venus is the divine receptive; the feminine side who would use means other than violence or rage to get what he wanted. Sometimes he wonders about why Mars is such a jerk, and why Mars can be so adamant about having his way, but also doesn't understand why Jupiter puts up with his s**t and they still act as pseudo-friends, for the good and the bad.
