What am I to you
What happened to what we had
You wanted me to your guardian and to be there for you
And I was happy with that and that alone
Things were great and we shared the sky together
And suddenly things changed and everything fell apart
To me what we had was special and i will always be your guardian
Even if all I’m guarding is memories of what we had
And I will now be lying alone under the sky where we used to be together
Your friendship is what’s most important to me
I will guard it forever in this broken and useless heart I carry
Until things ever go back to normal
Until then I will be here looking at the sky and lost in my memories
Because that is one thing not even pain can take away and we are burdened with forever
