Hm. Well today was fairly nice. Not genuinely, thus only fairly.
Most of the mile a minute picking work in Pelham Bay is done for now, so we didn't have any work to do there today. We just played baseball and climbed trees.
Baseball was interesting although I didn't really get the concept at first. Not that I made any hits, but it was a nice experience.
Tree climbing was fun! We used ropes and harnesses that Francisco brought along. I really admire his leadership skills, the way he taught everyone how to climb trees. =O
Anyway, the first time it was hard since I was on the opposite side on the slant of the tree. But the second time around I got to the top from the other side.
Afterwards, I kind of just slept for a while.
Also, the only people who showed up today were me, Cory, Valorie, Nathaniel, Matthew, and Jonathan. Everyone else ditched. x] Probably thinking we'd be pulling more mile a minute in the heat. o.o
Anyhow, tomorrow is the last day. Honestly it doesn't sound like that much fun. A barbecue and a pool. But since its the last day, maybe the last time I'll ever see some people, I might as well go. I hope it won't be hot out!
Hm, well. For the rest of the week. The details feel unimportant right now, so, I'll skip it. x.x
Although my goal was to be a frog by the time school started, I don't feel that close. I'm content to some extent, so I'm a tadpole for sure. But I have a lot to come to terms with to become a frog. D:
Oh yeah, funny thing. xD That guy whose class Esther, Nowshad, and I went to on Saturday...he actually left Esther an angry message telling her how rude she was for not asking questions and coming in late. He even told her that her friends don't deserve her! o.o Welll....not going to pay for his class. I'm not even going there in Bayside again. So suburban...having to wait so long for one bus, and with no trains. -.-
Anyway, I'll probably end up taking Test Takers at Bronx Science.
So I hope all goes well.
