Ok, you are at the register at work. You start ringing up a crazy homeless lady who is talking to you and herself at the same time. In the middle of ringing her up, another lady comes up and starts being a b***h to you and asking you where these school items that are on sale are at in the store becuase she's been "wandering the store for 15 minutes and she can't find where the hell any kind of
display for these items is". You try to see what items she's talking about while ringing up the other lady. You tell the b***h that school supplies are on aisle 8 and there's an endstand in the back for it too. she goes off to look and you continue ringing up the homeless lady. The other lady is standing in front of aisle 8 yelling to you that she doesn't know what you are talking about and she
cant find the items and she's getting even bitchier. You yell to her and offer to call the manager. Meanwhile the line is getting longer and longer and the b***h is like "yeah! call the manager! ask her where this stuff is cuz you obviously don't know your own store!" and so you call the manager and she calls back and you ask her where the stuff is and the lady is yelling at you cuz you tell the
manager that the lady is looking for the buy one get one school supplies and she's yelling at you "it's buy 2 get one free!!!" over and over. And in your line of work it doesn't matter how it's said between coworkers. Buy one get one is all the same no matter how many it is. And so you're trying to hear the manager, the b***h is yelling at you and the homeless lady is yelling and you and the b***h
about how she was there first and how you were taking care of her first! so then you hang up with the manager and tell the b***h that school stuff is all on aisle 8 and the other items are on aisle 10. and she storms up and grabs a flyer, flips to the page of the advertised items and is like "no! you see these!? they are all on the same page grouped together! they should be all together! why aren'
t they together?! where are they?!". so then you call the manager up to get her out of help and away from you. Oh and while you were on the phone the first time with the manager, another lady comes in the store and starts asking you question and both the homeless lady and b***h start yelling at her. The manager then comes and takes the b***h away. You finish ringing up the homeless lady and total
her order and she starts up with how that can't be right and how something didn't ring up right so you ring her again and go through each item telling her the price each time and then total it up again and she still isn't happy. Then she thinks and sees that the cigarettes she got aren't the price she thought cuz she thought they were on sale and so you tell her no, they aren't on sale anymore.
that was last month, so you take the cigs off and then ring her out, she leaves and then you get the other people rung up and you deal with all the while you're elbow is bleeding because you bashed it open a little bit ago and haven't had the chance to take care of it and it's the end of the day and you're really tired and exhausted and it's all just about when you're ready to go home. It's so bad
that you contemplate walking out of the store for good.
and that's exactly how my day was.
