My heart is broken;
I can’t feel it beat.
The thought of you makes the pain worse.

I try to not think of you day after day,
But it never goes away.

My love is fading,
My heart stopped racing,
And my watery tears turned to blood.

I will always be there for you when you need me,
But right now you hate me so I will leave you be.

My hopes are dead,
And my soul is like dawn.
I wish for death,
But I know god wants me to live on.

My heart will never heal from this,
But will only suffer and crumble.
I can’t talk to you plainly,
Because my words will start to stumble.

At the sight of you my breath is cut short;
At the sound of you voice;
My heart never stops racing.

I wish for you to love me;
The way I am in love with you.
But I know that will never happen;
So I will just keep hoping for that day to come.
