Story: Nathan was born in the seireite,but he does not know his parents because 2 nights after he was born there was an attack on the seireite that led to the murder of his parents. All of the other soul reapers took care of him till he was the age of 9 when he because the youngest living soul reaper of Squad 1. On his 12th birthday the head captain gave him the position of a squad that was elite at taking care of Hollows. He became squad captain X. The other squad captains gave him a congratulatory party before he departed to his new squad. When he arrived at his new squad the squad rejected him because not only was he the youngest living soul reaper to gain this position but he was also different. Squad X was only full of rude humans. And nathan was a fox anthro. He could not stand the discrimination of his Kind but he still put up with the discrimination. But, on his 16 birthday he could stand the discrimination no more. He told the head captain that he would resign his position as the head of squad X. The head captain refused Nathans resignation but Nathan insisted. Finally after 7 hours of debating the Head captain finally released Nathan of his position of Squad X. Nathan pain his respects with a slight smile and a quick bow after then left. He met up with the other captains went to greet him. The otehr squad captains were surprised to Nathan back after 3 years of his position. He told Yuki his closest friend before he left that he had resigned the position as Squad cap X. Yuki wondered why and he told her. All of the other captains felt sorry For Nathan and welcomed him back into the ranks of the normal squad captains. Soon after he because the leader of squad captain 1 again his team set out on a mission to protect a small village that as going to be attacked on May 24,2100. The protected the village for 3 days and realized that there was no sign of attack. They left the small village, but nathan smelled smoke and went to a near by village. The village was on fire. The whole squad rushed into action. Nathan ran off alone while the other members of squad 1 went to go get the people out of the village. then nathan came to an abrupt stop as he was stabbed in the leg with a katana. It was a wondering soul reaper and worst of all it was his friend Yuki. He asked her why did she stab him but she did not answer. she raised her sword in an attempt to kill him. Then a small child rammed into yuki and he sword fell into a corner. The child was singed and most of his clothes were burned. Yuki got up and swatted the small child off of her. The child then hit and wall and was knocked unconcious. Yuki got up and grabbed her sword but before she could attack Nathan then called the name of his sword (Aishi doshi) and the sword rendered yuki uncouncious. Nathan got up and walked over the the small child and picked him up. The other members put out the fire and Nathan sat the child on a small rock. The child woke up and looked at Nathan. Nathan said to the child "that was very brave of you little guy...whats your name?" The child did not answer but he let out a small smile. Nathan waited for his answer. The child looked around like he was lost and then looked back at Nathan. "Well?" Nathan asked nicely. The child still did not answer but shrugged. Nathan look ed at the child funny then asked "where are your parents?". The child finally decided to answer and said "Dead". Nathan looked puzzled but felt sad at the same time. he child then started looking around again then look at Nathan's left leg. "you are hurt" the child said getting off of the rock. "dont worry about it im fine" Nathan said calmly. "here let me try something" The child put his hand on Nathan's wonder and then removed it at once. Nathan looked surprised at the child. Then nathan asked the child "would you like to come with me?" The child let out a big "Gasp" and gave nathan a big hug. 2 days of rest at the village Squad 1 set back out on their journey back to the seireite. "when we get back we have to get you some new clothes". The small child said ok. "O and we are going to make up a name for you.
