Okay....let's see. At first everything was planned out. All my friends would meet at one place and from there my friend's boyfriend would pick us up. We would squeeze into his car and all go to the con. Once the con drew closer things popped up for them. That just left me totally alone with no ride. So, on Friday the day of the convention I got a reply from my sister telling me if I still wanted to go.
So yay! I'm going Sunday. I wanted to go Saturday but I'm not ditching my plans with my friends for that when it's also on Sunday. I lost sleep because I was completely unprepared to go. I had to make a list of things I wanted. I went on the site...took me two hours to look at all the dealer's stores/websites and also check out the artist's alley sites too. After that, I had to estimate their prices to know if I have enough money. Than make sure I had leftovers for the next convention I go to (I'll probably be going to the NYAF or Comic-con). Math is not fun!
Anyway, I got that part done. I went to bed...or at least I tried too. But I can't. I'm too excited for the plans I have with my friend to go and hang out with them. We're going to the Portuguese festival. And here I am, at home typing this up. So yeah, I spent 8 hours with them, walking back and forth and our legs are killing us. It didn't help that there were scatter showers too. Haha, though even with sore legs I don't regret it.
What else? Oh, yeah. I got home and relax and got another email from my sis telling me the plans. Of course she needs a mapquest on how to get there since it's not like we've ever been there before. Sadly, I can't print it out so I had to copy it all by hand and stuff. Haha...okay the point of this journal update was to let you all know I'm going and I'm excited. I'm suppose to be asleep...because I'll be waking up in six hours. Ugh....but I can't sleeeeeep. I just hope I don't have a headache in the morning...
I'll most likey update again....telling you all what happen after it and stuff.
