Appearance Description: Serena is a very short girl at five feet one inch. Her body shape is pear (Large bottom, smaller at the top) and she's a bit more muscular then the other girls, much to her chagrin. Her skin is brown, her eyes are slanted brown, and she has fine, straight, neck-length brown hair. (Get the picture?) She has high cheekbones.
Outfit: This outfit.
Personality: Serena is an expert at playing the role of the sensible, mature-for-her-age girl. If you show her the latest teen romance novel, she'll poke fun at it. If you ask her to compare the prices between two different packages of meat, she'll barely need to look up. Among her group of friends she's the motherly hen, the one who brings snacks and provides a shoulder to cry on. Sometimes she'd like to be more carefree, but she's been playing the straight man for so long that she's sort of used to it. But while it would be nice to sigh over the latest pretty boy without her friends giving her incredulous looks, Serena always feels a little bit proud whenever her Aunt describes her as the smartest person in the family.
Relationship to others: She has a gigantic obsessive crush on Christian, and Serena longs for him to talk to her or acknowledge her as something more then an aquantince. She has somewhat mixed feelings towards Marcia, seeing her as annoying, and at the same time feeling like she's a good friend.

Name: Christian Prime
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Male
Appearance Description: Christian deliberately tries to look fairly feminine. He's much taller then anyone else at six feet and three inches, and has a thin and graceful build. His eyes are almond shaped and light blue. His hair is thick, straight, and the color of ivory, trailing down to his waist. Since he dyes his hair, his eyebrows are light brown, but very thin and not particularly noticeable. He has a weak chin. His skin is pale.

Personality: Christian is quiet and introverted. Most people think he's lazy and stupid, due to his poor grades. In fact, he is lazy especially if he's not interested in what he's doing, but he's certainly not stupid. He's actually very observant and knows his classmates better then they know him. He's very polite but it's mostly to distance himself from others. He doesn't really have a sense of humor either. He's sort of in a mental conundrum: He likes getting attention, but has been a loner long enough that he has difficulty with interacting with other people. So he makes up for it by dressing somewhat weirdly (He once wore Barbie earrings to school) and acting aloof enough that he knows people will talk about him.
Relationship to others: Christian is aware of Serena's crush, but doesn't return her feelings. He likes her, and doesn't want to hurt her, but isn't interested or sure he’s capable of being more then acquaintances. He's seen Marcia on a few occasions, and mainly thinks of her as being just 'some girl'.

Name: Marcia Olivio
Age: Fourteen and a half.
Gender: Female
Appearance Description: Marcia is five feet and ten inches tall, with a lithe build. She has luxurious, curly, chestnut-colored hair cut into a short bob which puffs out a little like a dandelion. She is exceedingly pale with wide brown eyes.

Personality: Marcia is a very lonely girl who craves attention and friendship. She's very excitable and energetic, and can get enthusiastic about anything. One of her more irritating traits is that she's a total chatterbox, and can easily chatter about what's on her mind for several minutes without pausing for breath. Most people usually like her at first, but after they get angry at her Marcia shies away and usually doesn't talk to them anymore. She's very clumsy and accident-prone, which may be a subconscious way for her to get attention: People will always ask about her latest injury. Marcia always acts cheerful, even when she's feeling very depressed.
Relationship to others: Marcia currently is trying her best to establish Serena as her friend. She constantly worries that she'll be rejected, and tries to spend as much time with her as she can. She's heard of Christian, and thinks he's probably very dull, although she hasn’t yet had a real conversation with him.

Name: N/A (However, since he's a Man In Black, I refer to him as Mibby.)
Age: N/A Appears to be a physically fit adult in his thirties or forties, however.
Gender: Technically sexless, but referred to as male for simplicity's sake.
Appearance Description: Pale skin, cool to the touch and extremely stiff, like plastic. No visible hair, including eyebrows. Eyes are covered by large, extremely dark round sunglasses. He always stands up very straight, and he has very long fingers. Somehow manages to both be a very... solid presence, but still otherworldly, like a meteorite. He's an ordinary Caucasian, and a little on the pale side.
Outfit: Pretty much the one in the picture. A black fedora, large round sunglasses that make his eyes completely non-visible (although he seems to have no trouble seeing things, even in the dark), and a formal black suit. Plus shiny, formal black shoes. The only hint of non-blackness is the white dress shirt that can be seen underneath his suit jacket (which is never taken off or open) and a reddish tie.
Personality: Very weird and alien. Mibby is easily confused by everyday objects, such as pens, food, eating utensils, etc. He doesn't have much trouble with knives or machinery though. Seems to be weirdly bipolar, as one minute he'll be secretive and silent, and the next he'll be a little too outgoing for comfort, with extremely wide grins and disconcerting giggles. And he has a tendency to offhandedly mention things about you that you thought were very private...
Relationship to others: Although I'll make up scenarios where they all hang out together, in the context of the story I have in the back of my head, Mibby's an antagonist. He's specifically a threatening presence towards Serena, but since Serena cares about Christian and Marcia, Mibby's certainly not above putting them in danger.
