well...my love is gone...its as simple as that...At my age most people think love is impossible. But in all honestly it is not. Love is an emotion, and emotions are things we were born with. So how can you say love has an age? I have heard many people say love is a wonderful thing. And it is but it is also painful and difficult. Sadly I have come to realize love is also rare. You hear people say they love eachother yet do things and say things that go against that. Once again I do not believe love has an age but it does require a certain level of maturity and understanding. There are many types of love: love for family, love for friends, and finally love for a partner. Sometimes it is hard to know exactly what type of love you feel for a person and it is also very easy for love to be confused with lust. In all truth you could lust for someone yet not entirely like them. Also when you do find the person you love they will be youre friend and companion forever. It is hard to lose the person you love but you will also find it hard to regret meeting them. In the past I always thought 'love at first sight' was only in fairytales. Its not, I'm not saying it's easy and I'm not saying you exactly realize it at first. I've heard many times people say," well why do you love him/her?", " you should forget about me", or " you'll get over it." But in all truth love is not something you control, you may not want it and you may try to get over it but it won't go away. Love is not something you ask for and not something you can return. Love simply IS. So what I'm saying is don't let people tell you who you can and can't love, but that doesn't mean you should be with a person you know you shouldn't be with. When you fall in love it's not always with someone you can be with. In fact a majority of the time you'll find that the person you love can never be with you. But never give up hope and never let love get in the way of anything. Sometimes it is better to move on but that doesn't mean you have to forget thet person you loved. You never can. You can just live.
