Vince's Pancake Asylum...or Journal...whichever works
It's my head. My thoughts. Enjoy I'm going to make myself sick reading it later, anyway -_-
Yum yum...tweetle dum...
Had to choose between two quotes for my sig:
Chibi Kenji: Justice Never Dies
or
Sanae: You need to go to the church and tell them to help Hulk Hogan.
Went with the funny one this time even though I liked the Kenji quote better

New 20th Century Boys is out. If no one knows what that is I totally recommend it. The best manga I've ever read. Only followed a few like Naruto(I've read up to volume 18 I believe), Saikano, Monster(by the same author of 20thcb), Midori no Hibi and Trigun, but this one beats them all, hands down 3nodding
Disclaimer: Vincer's opinions are extremely bias. Calling him a liar will only cause him to toss Dr. Pepper in your retinas. You have been warned xp

Just incase people are reading this, it's about a boy named Kenji, who is a clever adventurous lil tyke that has alot of friends. They form a little group and make plans of taking over the world, saving it....fun imaginitve ideas kids come up with. Kenji is a leader. A hero. He can make it anywhere as a young boy...
Present day life, things are different. He's an adult. Has responsiblities and hasn't made it anywhere. Was in a failed rock band, dropped out of college, is at dead job he's stuck to work at and forced to raise his sister's baby because she ran off never to be seen again.

One day one of Kenji's former classmates dies, old memories start to appear and questions of his old friends death follow. Next, things start to happen. Horrible terrorist-like disasters. Familiar to Kenji because these exact locations and events are ideas he came up with as a child.
To sum the whole series up, one of Kenji's former friends is behind this and he must ban together with his former group of friends to stop him.

One of the things that got me hooked on this series was that the group of friends are just ordinary people with ordinary lives, yet have to step up to stop someone with more power and abilities than they really know. Real life heroes going up against a super villian like something from out of a comic book. With each chapter, with each volume, you hope. Hope that the Kenji Faction can do the impossible and take down the "Friend". But the bad guy always has an ace up his sleeve....
so many twists and turns....
*sighs*
Oneday if I can find a direct download, I'll post a link...

Anyway, it's Volume 17 and for me the story seemed to have been dragging on, but the last events in Volume 16 were nessisary. To explain what has been going on in the last 3 years, two new characters and Friend's past. Still, Vol 16 left me disappointed. Usually when I read 20th CB there is the urge to want to read more. Didn't really care if I did or not that time around sweatdrop
But after reading this volume, the feeling of addiction returned!
Dunno...why I have the feeling that it's just dragging on waaaay too much....
This volume was really good. But only because it continued the saga....
#16 is an important read to know what is going on presently.
In #17, I bet you could skip that volume without reading it and go to #18 next time, not missing a beat.
Plus I there weren't any surprising twists I didn't see coming^_^;;
Usually I'm way off with what happens next in the story even when I think I have the plot hole figured out, because of the twists.

Not dissing the issue though...put a smile on my face when I was done reading and now I'll have to wait 5 to 6 more months for the next one crying

Ummm...that's it I suppose.
Overslept on my kittygirl two days in a row which is a cycle I hope to break redface
Aaaaand...*thinks*
Supposed to be getting a digital camera this weekend but I have a little doubt in my system....heh... sweatdrop
