S: I don't know, but it's by far my favorite Dutch phrase thus far! It never hurts to know how to spread the luff in a different language. ^.^
A question, though: Is that phrase only used in a romantic sense, or would it be acceptable to say it to a friend?
K: Well.. It is okay to say it to a friend. Some of my friends do it, I don't though. But 'Ik hou van jou' can also be said like 'Hou van je!' which is basically 'Love you!'.
It's.. Complicated I guess xD. There are a lot of different ways to say 'Ik hou van jou'.

And, I just have to say. I want to perform some evil voodoo stuff on my Math at the moment ^^
