Bing bam boom.
Time for the show to start.
It's a different show each day,
a different character all the time.
So many different masks,
so little time.
Tuesday, you decide to act quiet.
And just be in your own world.
Thursday, all angry.
You rant and rave, and throw everyone off course.
Seems like you messed up, sadly enough.
Can't let your true nature show, now can you?
Friday, you do what you're best at.
You put on the biggest, fakest smile you can.
You pretend nothing that bothers you even exists.
Fooling everyone.
What an actor you are!
No one can really see what's under it,
now can they?
It's your job to perform,
and their job to enjoy the show.
Just make sure you do it right.
Messing up would be a big mistake.
After all....
it'd be horrible for someone to see your real person!
So buckle up, and put on your mask.
Time for another act to go on.
