I got up from the ground and looked around me. Birds were calling, the sun was shining bright, and the weathered, wooden sign that read 'Welcome to Chaniss' was standing proudly. "Did I... dream all of that?" I brushed a bit of dirt from my shirt, and my hand ran over something hard on my chest. I looked down my shirt, and I saw it was that stabilizer device from Chromozone! "If this is here, then that means Gold Zephyr is..." I looked around fervently and saw Ebon Zephyr sticking from the ground. "This is even better than I thought it could be! Thank you, my Goddess!" I pulled my glaive from its resting spot, put on my backpack, and ran to my home.

I knocked on the door and Doriyan answered. "Claive! It's so good to see you after these three long years." Did he not remember what happened? I walked in and set my stuff down. "Yo, squirts!" I shouted, and my siblings came running from another room. They all exclaimed happily and gave me a group hug. "I've really missed you guys." I told them. The phone rang and Doriyan picked it up. "Hello, Ilusta residence." He listened for a moment, looking perplexed, then said, "As a matter of fact, he just arrived." He handed me the phone and shrugged. "You've got Claive. Who's this?"
"Guess. Hee hee!" It was the Goddess! "As you may have figured out, you're at the time just after you arrived in Kithnal. No one knows about what happened with Nefilhame because I deleted him. However, as a show of good faith, I'll let you have everything you got as a result of your trials; Ebon Zephyr, the Lycanthrope Stabilizer, and the experience."
"Thanks. For everything. Hey, if you ever need something done, you call your hero, okay?" She giggled again, then hung up. I walked past Doriyan and hung up the phone. Ever the mood-killer, he said, "I dunno where YOU'VE been, but ***** still illegal here. Why don't you go ahead and take a seat over there?" I punched him in the arm and sat down, saying, "It's a long story, anyway. Why don't you get Chai and I'll tell you both."
"Hold up, how did you-"
"I reiterate: long story."

I told them about the reality I experienced, how I acquired my new powers and discarded my kingship, and my meeting with the Goddess. Afterwards, I invited Shayra over and we had an awesome party. After a week at home, I decided it was time I got back to Gaia. I took Gryphen out on a date, and we've been going steady since. All in all, this has been my most kick-a** adventure ever.
