as days go by i lie in bed
to think of ways to rest my head
yet when night comes my heart is fearsome
so i lie awake with fright
as time goes on and on
and night turns into dawn
as i weep with tearful eyes i finally sleep
as i await the nightful of fright and hear its tearful song
and on and on and on and on
through the night and dawn the night and dawn this is how it goes on
the tears the pain to never end
to go on forever
will it go on forever?
could i possibly find a resolve to these nightly chimes
in the end i can not pretend
i shall never truly know
so on and on and on and on
this endless cycle shall go.......
