So. I've been watching the movie "Ghandi", because it was free on Demand. Not to sound like a Comcast commercial, but you've got to admit, everyone likes a free movie.
Unless it's that movie where the girl comes out of the well, because that's movie's kind of creepy, and it prompts some pretty weird phone calls.
Sorry, getting off topic. The point is, I was watching "Ghandi", and it's splendid. Sublime. Very good acting as well as plot line, and I do love Ghandi. I like that he fought (effectively) with peace. He was not a violent man, and I respect that. And his ideas are easily applicable to life. Now, I know it's not something spectacularly deep or anything, but here is my way of connecting Ghandi's ideas about how we should treat one another to Gaia. Because I think that two specific and very adamant groups of people should stop opposing each other, and learn to accept one another's views. They don't have to necessarily understand the opinions of the group, they just have to live with them.
If you didn't see it coming, I'll lay it out for you: this is a call to end the Twilight wars.
I don't want to take sides. I will neither promote or "diss" Twilight. I'll try to stick with facts and unbiased statements. If I'm seeming to lean in a particular direction to you, lemme know and I'll stop. But so far I think I'm more of a Sears Tower than a leaning tower of Pisa.
But don't mind my babbling or strange architectural references, because this is the point: can't we just all be friends? It sounds kind of juvenile and insincere, but I'm serious. I think that it's unbelievably stupid that the Twilighters and anti-Twilight peeps are so mean to each other. Especially since you probably hardly know each other. So people who started the anti-Twilight guild, don't you have anything to do with your time? I mean, if we don't stop this soon then someone will make an anti-anti-Twilight guild, and then we'll have an anti-anti-anti-anti-Twilight guild, and that'll just be confusing for all us Gaians. Especially if you want to get really confusing with the anti-pro-anti-anti-pro-anti-pro-pro-anti-pro-anti-Twilight guild. I mean, how does that even WORK?
So please. Stop it. If you are hopelessly in love with a sparkling immortal, I'm down with that. And if you get your kicks out of opposing said sparkling immortal, I'm good with that too. As long as you can be civil to each other, I love you all. Dearly, not queerly. Or, like, that much, cause that be kind of stalkery and/or weird.
End the Twilight fights! Down with the shipping wars! Up with tolerance! Up with GHANDI!
...well...yeah, kind of a stretch.
But you get what I mean.

Lately I've kind of been slowly coming to the strange realization that my life really is bizarre...but not in big cosmic ways. It's on a much smaller scale - the tricks are all smoke and mirrors.
