Today Jessica and I went on a hike. It was fun, we went up to the Glenwood Hills parking area and then hiked for about an hour or so and just followed the stream bed up through all the rocks. We stopped and ate lunch and creepily enough, we saw many people hiking towards us but all of them disappeared, despite the fact that we were in a narrow canyon where there was no way to continue down the trail without walking past us.

We sat around for about an hour before we decided it was time to go back home. However, it took us much longer to get home because we ran into some... difficulties. We tried going back on the same trail that we came but we missed it by about ten feet and ended up struggling through narrow slots between rocks, avoiding cactus and yucca and trying not to fall off a cliff on the especially narrow bits. And then, sure enough, this guy with his dog comes jogging past us on the actual trail that was right next to ours... We jumped over several cacti and then went on the actual trail.
