1. Don't be lazy. Unless you don't care about being locked out of your accounts, you need to check every single one of them if you want to be sure your accounts have active e-mails. If you don't want to make sure they're all safe, why the hell are you reading this?
2. Make a list of all of your accounts. This is really pretty simple, just make a list of all of the usernames you can remember (if you use firefox to store passwords, look there for usernames too). You'll be using this list to ensure that you've checked every single account, and none have been left in the dust.
3. Go through every single account you have and check the e-mail. Once you've checked out the e-mail on an account, put a checkmark, star, or what have you next to the name to note that it has been checked. Here are the things to look for:
* It's a real e-mail address.
* It is your e-mail address.
* You can get into the e-mail address.
4. Change any inactive, inaccessable, or faked e-mails to real ones. You might have to make a new one if you've run out of e-mails to use. You can make one easily for your mules by going to whatever e-mail service you'd like (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.) and using either your own format or using something like yourgaianameheregaia@whatever.com. If your username is blarghimaname, for example, you might use blarghimanamegaia@whatever.com.
5. Check your new e-mail inbox once you change the e-mail. You'll need to re-activate your account once you change your e-mail address, so check your new, real e-mail inbox for the e-mail from Gaia.
6. Record the e-mails somewhere if you'd like. You don't have to put passwords, but a list of accounts and their e-mails may be handy in the future. If you lock yourself out of an account and forget what e-mail it's using, you can refer to this list. Of course, this is completely optional and probably only useful to people who have a ton of mules.
7. Enjoy your mules. That's really all there is to it.
