Okay, I've ignore a lot of things in my life that some people do. But when they go out of their way to do something stupid and cruel it just makes me snap. Really why waste someone's time with stupidity?! If you don't like something and have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all. It's not like someone is holding a gun to your head and telling you to hurt someone's feelings. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way either. For those that are reading this and are a little lost I'll give you an example. Lets say, I wrote a story that many people like but then there's this one person who leaves a comment or review (in fanfiction it's called a flame) and says they hate it and that I shouldn't call myself a writer and blah blah...
I find that so stupid. If they took the time to leave a review then it makes me think that they have no life. You see, if they had a problem they could have just left constructive criticism telling me where I can improve and do it nicely. But no, they choose to leave a flame where I'll just delete it and move on.
And today I got one of those stupid comments. The very first time I've ever gotten one on Gaia. I never thought I would get one but I did. It was a comment about one of the things I was bidding on. WTF?! That was the first thing that crossed my mind. Just because I started the bid price I get a comment from someone saying it was low and that I was a noob. Gah, they are such an idiot! How else do you start a bid? Put down the same price as the buy now?! No. The rules to bidding is that you start low and then work your way up. But it's not that, that bothers me the most. It's the fact that someone went out of there way to go to my profile and leave a comment telling me that. That's what I hate the most. People who do that are no better then those that are racist. Why? Because they judge someone by their actions, by their appearance, by their status. Especially when this person called me a noob. They don't know me to know if I really am or not. I got the money to buy expensive things but I'm smart enough not to waste it. Not until I reach my goal.
And anyway, he is a more of a noob for going to my profile and leaving that comment.
But still...it's sad to see that nowadays no one really shows any respect online. They hide behind their computer screens knowing that no one knows who they are and it makes them feel powerful to bother other people and hurt them. Really, how would they know if there is someone that works for Gaia? You know, like undercover, reporting users that abuse the site and such. I know they are around and I've seen the same thing on other sites too (like Vampirefreaks...if you're a fake they WILL find you). These people protect those that respect others and the site. They make it a better place for the few who are stuck among the sea of idiots. These...flamers are everywhere. And it just annoyed me when I saw some of those comments in the arenas. The artists of those avatars, pics, writing etc. ignore those comments but I know sometimes they can't help but feel a bit put down because of it.
And some of those people are too hard on those that are trying. Saying that it's gay, it's sucks a**, epic fail, it's horrible...etc. It is cruel and it wastes a person's time. Really, if one person said it was a epic fail why must another five say the same thing? Why do they bother wasting their time too, to leave stupid comment. If you don't like it, don't say anything. It's that simple! And besides, why say that when you can say it nicely. For example: I admire your effort in doing a Kakashi cosplay but your missing a few things such as a headband, a book, and his eyes aren't blue. Nice try though, but I suggest you check everything before trying again. Good luck!
You see, that wasn't so hard. If they put an effort in leaving rude comments and pressing submit then I think they can easily say something helpful. I'm sure as hell don't leave rude comments to people because I know I wouldn't want that myself. And if one person doesn't leave rude comments and such then it's one less idiot in the cyber world. If people start doing that then others would catch on and stop too.
We all are humans. We all have feelings. And we all want respect.
Now, I feel better. This is my rant and I know we all rant at times. It is my opinion and there should be no reason for me to get any rude comments for this. And if I do then I ask you this...Why the hell are you reading this in the first place? Don't like it? Then don't read it. Heck, don't ever bother leaving rude comments. You would just be proving me right.
