In my Language Arts class, just about every Thursday we listen to an essay from npr.com then we are told to write a paragraph about something we beleive in. These are some of my entries. Hope ya like them. :3




I belive in universal equality and not being judgemental. That someones age, sex, religion, height, weight, apperance, medical problems, family problems, money problems and all that other stuff should NOT be the first thing that pops into your mind when your meeting someone for the first time. When you meet someone, focus on their personality, not their apperance. Focus on their words, not their voice. Most people act as if they're lifes are more important than someone elses. Guess what? 'Whats your social status?' isN'T a question on a job application. Just because someone thinks they're better doesnt make them any better than anyone else. i beleive the weakest person is the critizizer not the critizised. Everyone is strong and everyone is weak, but no one is better than anyone else. with the right friends, motivation, and confidence everyone can be capable of something worth wild. Everyone should respects each others differences because noone is perfect and everyone should accept their own and eachothers differences.

I beleive in second chances. That everyone should be able to redo somehting they did wrong. We only get one life, but that doesnt mean we should only get one chance. Life is confusing and we all make mistakes at some point in our life. I beleive everyone should get a chance to do the right thing and become a better person by doing it. Next time someone asks for a second, truely think about it. Be careful though. Some may need the second chance and others may abuse it.

I beleive there is bravery in everyone. That even the biggest 'wimp' has some courage. Bravery is in everyone and everything. It sursprises people sometimes. Like the kid that never says a word to anyone and only has few friends. Well, when someone is trying to hurt one of their few friends, the kid speaks up and stands up for what is beleived to be the right thing. Bravery and courge are in everyone. Everyone has a voice and everyones voice should be heard. The bravery and courage can be hard to grasp sometimes, but if someone tries hard enough, they'll be able to find it.
